Watching you

We have a two-sided fireplace (as you can see) and often times my little girl can easily be seen playing in the great room.  I was watching TV and began watching my wife interact with our little one.  I rushed out of my seat, grabbed my camera and hurried back and put my feet up and began shooting.

What’s that?

I always enjoy catching people in action.  This shot was taken a few months ago while eating with my nephew.  The bartender seemed very interested in what the customer was saying.  I guess we’ll never know what?

Symmetry

We were eating at a sushi restaurant called Nobu in Dallas, TX.  As we were leaving, I looked across the street and there was an amazing building with awesome architecture.  I ran to it and grab this pic.

P.S.  This image works great for a wallpaper for your smartphone.  Feel free to download and use it.

Excited about Bath time

I posted this picture on my Facebook page and thought I would include it here also.  Shot with my Sony NEX-7 and Leica 50mm Noctilux.  Absolutely, awesome paired together!  The “pixel peaking” feature works well.

Almost Walking

This past week has been crazy busy.  I’m currently lecturing at an AO Basics Course (teaching residents how to use implants).  On Sunday, I realized that I had to give a lecture that had not been given before, thus I worked night and day and got it done (gave the lecture about 2 hours ago).

Here is a recent picture of my baby girl.  She has successfully mastered standing with support and you can see from the picture she can easily do it with one hand.  In the past week we find her standing more and more without any support.  I don’t think she has realized that she can successfully do this.  When she does, I’m sure she will be walking all over the place.
