What’s next?

I’ve been busy with work the last few days and haven’t had time to post.  Peter at Prosophos featured Photographer Ashwin Rao today, you should go there and read his profile, he’s a great guy.

This shot was taken a few weeks ago at my Aunt’s house.  I felt the hardwood floor complimented my little girls dress.

Something new, something old

Unsure if it’s the yellow brick or how the light was shining down but for some reason I was drawn to this.

St. Louis Cathedral part 1

If you get the opportunity to visit New Orleans, you have to run into St. Louis Cathedral.  Absolutely beautiful artwork.  Here’s a shot of a mural on the ceiling.

Waiting for Snow – Leica M (240)

I’m finally back after taking a few weeks off.  We traveled to Alabama and to New Orleans and just recently got back.  I hope to post some pics from our trip in the coming weeks.

On Friday of last week I got the exciting call from Dale Photo (now called Leica Miami) telling me that I was one of the first to get the new Leica M (240).  I’ve only had a small amount of time to take pics.  Here is one of my first shots.  I could immediately notices substantial improvements in comparison to my Leica M9-P.  This shot was taken at ISO 800 and in my opinion renders skin colors much better than the M9 and has much less noise.  I think I’m going to be very happy with the camera.

I hope to post more pics soon.
