A little girl and her dog part 1

My wife and I have been fortunate to have a wonderful dog, Abby for the past 13 years.  She has always been a very loving dog and full of energy.  In the past year, her health has been declining and her time with us is limited.  My little girl has really enjoyed having her around.  Abby has enjoyed eating the trail of food my little girl leaves all the time.

It’s been difficult to get any good pictures of my little girl and our dog together.  Both never seem to sit still long enough for me to capture a moment.  Luckily, I was able to catch a few the other day.  These will probably be the only series of “good” pictures I will get of them 2 together.

Something different part 2

Here’s another picture from the old Booneville Railroad Bridge.

Something different

It seems every time I go to Iowa I have to stop by this old railroad bridge and take pictures.  This time I decided I would include myself in the picture.

Wonderful Birthday Weekend

I posted this picture on Facebook but wanted it on my blog also.  She had a wonderful birthday weekend with friends and family.

The Holland Harbor Lighthouse

We didn’t have much time to visit this lighthouse during our trip to Holland Michigan but I was able to take a few quick shots.  It was around 4pm in the afternoon therefore the shadows were somewhat harsh. I used my Lee graduated filters which helped a lot.
