Our Future @ 12 months

Here it is, the 1 year shot!  I’ve already posted it on Steve Huff’s website (thanks Steve), you can see it here.  I’ve had a great time taking these pictures and look forward to shooting more.  I plan on taking one every 6 months now and hopefully I can continue for a very long time.

I’ve been busy the past few days and have not had the opportunity to update my blog. Hopefully, I’ll have more time this weekend.

There’s nothing special about this image and I’ve on a few occasions almost deleted it.  For some reason though, I seem to be drawn to it, always looking for something interesting.  I suppose all the lines, circles, and symmetry must have something to do with it?

Here is another picture I found in my archives.  This was taken at the Auburn Cord Duesenburg Automobile Museum.  If you are ever in Northeast Indiana and enjoy old cars you can easily spend hours in this place.

Previous shots posted from the museum can be found here and here.

Happy Birthday! She’s 1 year old…

As most of you know, our baby girl has officially turned 1 year old.  It has been a wonderful and exciting year for both me and her mother.  It’s truly amazing how fast she’s grown and we look forward to many more years of watching her mature.

Today’s post is an assortment of pictures taken through Lyla’s first year.

Get me grandma

I was playing with my little girl and she noticed her grandma working in the kitchen.  She quickly crawled to the fence and attempted to get her attention.  Don’t worry, she was successful.

Keep God First

I don’t like posting pictures of homeless people but I found this gentlemen to be very pleasant.  I spoke to him for a few minutes and gave him a few dollars.
