Riding my pony

I recommend if you take a lot of pictures make sure every so often you go back through them.  I have over 23,000 pics in my library (I deleted about 10,000 last year) and it’s real easy to forget pictures that you’ve taken.

This picture was taken at my nephews second birthday 18 months ago.  I found it this weekend.

Almost Walking

This past week has been crazy busy.  I’m currently lecturing at an AO Basics Course (teaching residents how to use implants).  On Sunday, I realized that I had to give a lecture that had not been given before, thus I worked night and day and got it done (gave the lecture about 2 hours ago).

Here is a recent picture of my baby girl.  She has successfully mastered standing with support and you can see from the picture she can easily do it with one hand.  In the past week we find her standing more and more without any support.  I don’t think she has realized that she can successfully do this.  When she does, I’m sure she will be walking all over the place.

Mom, I’m like you!

Happy New Year everyone.  We just got back from visiting our family in Illinois.  It’s always enjoyable to go back but it’s also tiresome because we travel from place to place so that we can visit with everyone.

My goal with this blog in the new year is to continue to post 4-6 pictures a week and also write some reviews.  I may even step outside the camera world and comment on other electronic related items (I admit, I’m a huge computer and technology geek).

We were visiting my sister-in-law and her youngest got a stethescope for Christmas.  His mother is in the medical profession and I’m sure he will enjoy pretending he is like his mom.

Our Future @ 7 months

Tomorrow is Christmas, the first for my baby girl.  We know she will not remember this Christmas (probably won’t remember the next).  It’s going to be more exciting for mom, dad, and grandma but I’m sure she will get some enjoyment playing with all the paper and ribbons.

Last week Lyla turned 7 months.  She absolutely loves posing for pictures and as always, taking this picture was very easy.

P.S.  This shot was taken with my new Leica 28mm elmarit.

 Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

Here is the post from her 6 month picture.
