Another capture from the hip. Â My goal is to catch them mid-stride.

Recently I purchased Leica’s new 21mm super elmar. Â All I can say is WOW! Â The sharpness and minimal distortion is phenomenal. Â Last, I love using “zone focusing“. Â I just set my aperture and shooting distance and I’m ready to go. Â If you set your aperture to f/8 (has to be a sunny day) and shooting distance to 5 feet, anything beyond 3 feet will be in focus.
This shot was taken from the hip. Â This guy was definitely on the go.

We were eating at a sushi restaurant called Nobu in Dallas, TX.  As we were leaving, I looked across the street and there was an amazing building with awesome architecture.  I ran to it and grab this pic.
P.S. Â This image works great for a wallpaper for your smartphone. Â Feel free to download and use it.

I have been extremely busy the past few weeks. Â When that happens unfortunately the first thing that has to be put on the back burner is the website. Â Don’t worry though, I still find time to take pictures.
I had the opportunity to take a few pictures while in Dallas. Â I never know when I go to these meetings if I will have the time to shoot but I try as much as possible. Â This picture was taken with my new Leica 21mm Super Elmar. Â When focused, the images are razor sharp. Â It’s very compact and very easy to use. Â Anyway, I was shooting from the hip while walking trying to catch people in motion. Â I think I accomplished what I was looking for?
