Yellow Everywhere

I’ve always been one who always likes to buy everything new.  When I purchased a Leica 50mm summilux version 1, built-in 1959 I was unsure what I was getting.  Now, after shooting it for a few weeks I’m truly in love.  It has a very unique bokeh and colors are a bit saturated.  The sharpness is nothing like my noctilux or 35mm summilux.  I suppose my future camera endeavors may involve purchasing “classic” lenses.

I thought her yellow shoes, dress, and the flowers would be a winning combination.

Cheese…

Recently, our little girl has learned the word “cheese”.  Anytime I get the camera out, that’s the first words from her mouth.  I only wish she would sit still when she was saying it.

This picture captures one of those very first moments she started saying “cheese”.

Bedtime with the cousins

We went home this past weekend to visit with family and celebrate my sister-in-laws 30th birthday. One evening we stayed late at her house and our little girl climbed in to bed with her cousins.  She has not learned that the bed is for resting, she is still very much interested in playing.

Her first purse – part 1

I’m pretty sure she is going to be a girly girl.  She carries her mom’s old purse around all the time.  Often times when small things are missing throughout the house, this is one of the best places to look.
