This past weekend we drove back home for a birthday party. Â I decided to get up one morning and take a few pictures of the George Rogers Clark Memorial. Â I’m always trying to imagine places to take landscape pictures back home but unfortunately, the majority of what is around is flat farm land. Â This is one of the few unique structures in and around where I’m from.

I pass these trees everyday on my way to work. Â I’ve many times tried to imagine a good shot of them. Â This past weekend there was just a faint amount of fog and I stopped my truck and took a few shots. Â Initially, I didn’t think I would like the shot with the guard rail but I think it gives the image a more 3D appearance and adds to the symmetry provided by the tree’s.
P.S. Â As you can easily notice, there is nothing “alive” wear I live right now. Â Hopefully soon, we’ll start seeing some life.
